About Me
My name is Sharon Austin and I am based in Norwich, Norfolk, England.
Animals have always been an important part of my life. Dogs featured strongly during my childhood but horses were my passion. At the age of 12 my parents paid for me to have riding lessons and at 16 we bought our first pony, Luke. He was a typical pony, intelligent, self assured, worldly wise and had my capabilities weighed up in the first 5 minutes! It was pretty evident from the amount of times I picked myself up from the ground and watched his apple shaped bottom disappearing up the road that our communication lines were crossed. However, the lessons he taught me were invaluable and I became even more passionate about the equine race. Each new horse that came into my life was an opportunity to expand the knowledge and imbed the learning.

Luke was followed by many more horses, all of whom offered me the opportunity to enrich my animal experiences, even the painful ones. For many years I bred and showed British Spotted Ponies, taught horse riding and competed and somewhere amongst the equine throng there would be at least one dog or cat.
In 2006 I set up EponaHealing with the aim of helping to bring animals and their carers closer together through healing and communication.
